Gearbox Speciality Car Storage was founded by a group of entrepreneurial car and truck enthusiasts in Connecticut needing to store a collection of development and personal vehicles safely and securely. We'd love to take the same great care of your car(s) while we're at it.

Gearbox is conveniently located just outside Danbury, CT, one hour north of Manhattan and one hour south of Lime Rock Park. Brand new construction with the latest in surveillance and security, our climate and humidity controlled space is perfect for protecting and preserving your car or truck. No expense was spared in making the Gearbox car storage facility safe and secure, from the parking to the people.

The People
We are enthusiasts and gearheads through and through. You'll hand your keys to a person who knows how meaningful that can be and who will treat your car with the care and caution that it deserves. Owner is on-site most days and present for all drop-offs.

Outlined below, the Gearbox Car Storage Process is setup to ensure that you receive old school personalized service with the modern conveniences like a paperless process and automatic billing that one should expect in 2023.

Yearly Single Car - $295/mo (billed annually)
Our operation is best suited for folks who need to store a car or multiple cars year-round. In an effort to maintain privacy and security, we like to keep our circle small but those clients are able swap cars as needed. Additional vehicles $275.

Monthly Single Car - $345/mo (billed monthly)
These spaces are limited due to the priority that we give to annual storage clients but are an excellent way to store a car short term if needed.

Car Storage FAQsOne of our staff will reach out to discuss your storage needs and confirm insurance requirements, drop-off details and send a digital contract.

3. Drop-off
The drop-off processOn the day of, we'll confirm via text message. When you arrive, you'll pull your vehicle inside where we'll do a full walkaround and document any 'quirks and features'.
